This is a 'Drag and Drop' Application that reads the text, using Macintalk, of any file dropped onto it and displays the text in LARGE type across the screen.
Why ?
It may be useful.
• For System 7.0+ (can be used with other system versions, see below.).
• File_Reader II reads the text of the target file and shows it in LARGE typ across the window. This application was written using the standard Units that come with Turbo Pascal. If it crashes, please let me know.
How to use it, step by step.
To use File_Reader II:
• Drag your file onto the File_Reader icon. Your file will be
read and the text listed.
• The application will not allow to much to go on
in the background.
• hold the mouse button down to hault…
• Select Quit or any other menu item.
To use File_Reader II on other systems:

• Shift-Select both File_Reader II and the target file.
• Double- click on either Icon.
• Your file will be read and it's text listed.

• you can double click on the File_Reader II Icon and use the
standard file dialog box by selecting Open from the file menu
• Menu Items are provided to allow you to change the font size,
turn the Speach on or off, or pronounce each word or each sentence.
These file readers have been tested using Macintalk 2.0 and system 7.0+, 6.0.4 and 3.2 on a 512ke, an SE and a PB140.
